American astronomer, professor, and ufologist. J Allen Hynek 
Hynek acted as a scientific advisor to UFO studies undertaken by the U.S. Air Force under three projects: Project Sign (1947–1949), Project Grudge (1949–1951) and Project Blue Book (1952–1969). Hynek also founded the Center for UFO Studies (CUFOS) in 1973 
Hynek was later a consultant to Columbia Pictures and Steven Spielberg for the popular 1977 UFO movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind, named after a level of Hynek’s encounter scale.
Bill Cooper– Grandfather of the modern conspiracy theory, host of the short wave radio broadcast The hour of the time, and author of the 1991 book Behold a Pale Horse, 
Cooper warned of multiple global conspiracies involving extraterrestrials, secret societies, the Kennedy assassination, and a one world government 
In 2001, the sheriff’s deputies attempted to arrest Cooper at his home on charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and tax evasion. After an exchange of gunfire during which Cooper shot one of the deputies in the head, Cooper was fatally shot and killed.
