This was promotional T-shirt from a short lived campaign by the Preserve Plum Island Coalition (PPIC) to stop tourism to the Island in the early 2000’s . It was part of a last ditch effort to raise awareness & preserve critical biodiversity, and prevent further development on Plum Island, Unfortunately the Department of Homeland Security had other ideas.
The campaign never really got off the ground and the Island was eventually taken over for good by the United States Government where they continue their mad scientist tomfoolery to this day. I have painstakingly recreated relic and for a limited time, I am making it available to the public
